There's a great picnic area about 1km into the park. Plenty braai places and room for the kids to run around. Bring wood/charcoal. Jaw dropping vistas.
Whatever you do....DO NOT go through any puddles of water (specifically at the start of the Oribi Loop! It's deeper than you think. Messed up my Mercedes real good!!! (Except if you have an SUV)...
