One of my favorite bars in the world.
Legend has it that Ernest Hemingway, a war correspondent at the time, was one of the first Americans into Paris during the Liberation in 1944, and Harry's Bar was the first place he stopped.
I have often mused that if I could go back in time to any point and place in history, I think I'd like to be in Paris in the summer of 1944 during the Liberation. Harry's Bar always reminds me of that.
